Santa and Mrs. Terry Claus are Tom and Terry Irving of Conyers, GA. Santa Tom has been portraying Santa Claus for several years, beginning with strictly charitable venues. After retiring from the retail tire business a few years ago he was finally able to let his beard and hair grow out properly and achieve the real persona of Santa Claus. In 2005, Santa Tom appeared at the IBM Atlanta employee Christmas Party and his professional Santa career was launched. Santa Tom joined Santaatlanta.com in 2006 as well as Santas4hire.com out of California.

Mrs. Terry Claus joined in the fun of the Santa business in December of 2006. Besides her huge teary smiles, (Mrs. Claus is known to leak around the eyes), warm heart and loving hugs, Mrs. Claus also plays Guitar and sings many Christmas Carrols and songs. She also entertains the children by reading them stories. Santa Tom is a member of the Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santa’s and is currently serving as the co-chairman of the AORBS 2008 Santa Claus Convention to be held in Overland Park, KS this coming summer. Santa Tom and Mrs. Terry Claus also serve on the committee for The RedSuit Roundtable, an AORBS sponsored luncheon in February. In 2007 we hosted over 200 Santa’s and Mrs. Santa’s at The Piedmont Room of The Park Tavern on Piedmont Park in midtown Atlanta. We expect to far exceed those numbers in 2008.

Santa and Mrs. Terry Claus have appeared together at charitable events such as Breakfast with Santa at St. John Neuman Cathlic School in Lilburn, GA and The W.T. Jackson Elementary School Christmas Party held at The Park Tavern in midtown Atlanta. And Santa Tom has served as Santa for the Hugh Spalding Medical Center, the welfare arm of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, as well as for rhetts syndrome Christmas party for TechAble Inc, a non-profit corporation serving severely handicapped children in Conyers, GA. Santa Tom also serves as the Santa for Remington House, a fully assisted living facility in Conyers and at the Flat Shoals Elementary Special Education classes.

Santa Tom was born in Lexington, KY and raised in Falls Church, VA. He has been a resident of Georgia since 1977, residing in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Mrs. Terry Claus was born in Yonkers, NY and was raised in Monroe, NY. She has lived in Conyers, GA since 1985. Tom and Terry were married in November of 1999 and are members of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Conyers. They have seven grown children, four sons and daughters-in-law and two grandchildren.
